1. Opener

Each person introduced themselves.

2. Secretary’s Report – Kim Loxton

The Secretary’s Report was read by Kim Loxton.

3. Treasurer’s Report – Mary Licker

  • $6,797 collected this month.
  • 66 people remain delinquent.
  • Mary requested that a $50 fee automatically be added on August 1st of each year.
  • The current practice of using a monthly percentage accrual will continue.
  • District reps are being asked to knock on the doors of each delinquent household to try to collect dues.
  • Mary will give each district rep their list of houses.

4. Architectural Report – Susan Bungard

  • 8316 Hunter’s Knoll Run: Above-ground pool has been removed.
  • 8522 Deer Brook Pl: Fence installation has not begun.
  • 8324 Hunter’s Knoll Run: Shed removed after receiving certified letter.
  • 8509 Hunter’s Knoll Run: Permission granted to install a wooden grill gazebo (8×5′).
  • 509 Water Meade Pl: Permission granted to remove 5 trees at homeowner’s expense. New owner owns a tree service and will complete the work (some trees are on community property).
  • 8408 Summerset Pl: No additional improvements made. First certified letter sent in April. Lee will inspect property and discuss next steps with past president, then report back at the August meeting.
  • Newly erected pool at [address withheld] Summerset Pl: Violation noted; will be handled by Lee.

5. Maintenance Report – Bryce Heller

  • Low limbs and overgrowth trimmed in common areas.
  • Bridges will be painted and overgrowth removed this Saturday.
  • Ed provided update on cost of paint and supplies; expenses approved.
  • Ditch tree removal: Still waiting on the city to begin project.

6. Social Report – Jenn Beeching

  • Current Facebook page is public and cannot be made private.
  • Discussion held on creating a new private group. Old page will reference the new group.

7. Website

  • Lee will ask Ben to update the website so the Architectural Request Form directs to Susan rather than Brian.

8. Crime Watch / Safety Report

  • Hearthstone had a Crime Watch program in the past. Lee would like to implement it again.

9. Delinquent Dues – 8513 Hunter’s Knoll Run

  • Homeowner is to pay the court. Treasurer has not yet received payment from the court; situation will be investigated.

10. New Business

  • Jim & Cindy: Requesting help with drainage issues at back of their property; flow interrupted by homeowner landscaping.
  • Officers & Directors Liability Insurance / Association Liability Insurance: Mary will get insurance information to Lee. Lee will give update on coverage at August meeting.
